I am putting together an Arduino Nano with sensors and radio link.
Here you can see the MS5611 barometric pressure sensor with the Nano
and AM-RT14-433P Hybrid Transmitter Module (433mHz)
The receiver:
This consists of one AM-RRQ3-433CTC Superheterodyne Receiver, 433MHz, a 3W amplifier and a 3W speaker.
Works like a charm 🙂 (Thanks to Rolf R Bakke , creator of schematics and code)
-but whats the point, you may ask.
Well, planning on putting the TX in a RC sailplane while having the receiver in my pocket.
Then I’ll hear where the thermal updrift winds are..
(I also have prefabricated telemetry solutions from Futaba that will do the same, but
there’s nothing like doing it yourself!)
Update 11.11.13:
Finished it off, and here it is 🙂 (proudly presents)
